Kawartha Community Foundation is pleased to partner with the Omemee Lions Club to support the Omemee Train Station Revitalization Project, helping bring renewed purpose to this familiar local space.
A Community Partnership for Local Heritage
Through this partnership, the Omemee Lions Club will lead the local revitalization project, while Kawartha Community Foundation provides charitable fund administration and donation receipting support through its Public Amenities Fund.
The partnership brings together local volunteer leadership and the Foundation’s charitable infrastructure, giving residents, businesses and community partners a way to contribute to the station’s future.
More Than a Building
Preserving the station is an opportunity to honour Omemee’s history while creating a welcoming place for future generations to visit, learn and connect.
