The Purpose
The primary purpose of the Fund is to support, preserve, and enhance historically significant and publicly accessible spaces within the City of Kawartha Lakes. The Fund is dedicated to ensuring that parks, recreational areas, and community landmarks remain safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for all residents and visitors.

Led by the Omemee Lions Club, the Omemee Train Station Revitalization Project invites residents, businesses and community partners to help care for our shared heritage.

The train station offers a connection to Omemee’s railway history and the people who helped shape our village. Revitalizing this space is an opportunity to honour that history while creating a welcoming place for future generations to visit, learn and connect.

Skaters of all levels to learn, grow, and thrive
Community members to come together and support one another
Local youth to develop important life skills, such as perseverance and self-expression
