Vital Signs: Measuring Community Wellbeing
Lindsay Advocate’s October 2025 Issue
We’re proud to share that our Vital Signs Kawartha Lakes report has been featured in the latest edition of The Lindsay Advocate. Writer Sarah Fournier calls it “one of the most important documents Kawartha Lakes has seen in a long time,” noting its role in measuring community well-being across 11 key areas – from health and safety to immigration, seniors, and the environment. As part of Canada’s largest community-focused data program, the report provides a snapshot of how our community is doing today and helps point the way toward evidence-based, local solutions for tomorrow. The Advocate’s coverage highlights how Vital Signs reports across the country have spurred meaningful change, and reinforces how our local report can spark conversation, guide resources, and strengthen community resilience here in Kawartha Lakes.
