Announcing Our New Board Member - Corey Norman

The Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes is pleased to welcome Corey Norman to its Board of Directors. A passionate advocate for innovation, entrepreneurship, and regional development, Corey brings more than a decade of strategic leadership experience that will help guide the Communtiy Foundation’s mission to foster lasting community impact through accessible philanthropy and inclusive collaboration.

Corey Norman, Executive Director of Launch Kawartha, KLCFDC

Corey currently serves as Executive Director of Launch Kawartha, the innovation hub of the Kawartha Lakes Community Futures Development Corporation (KLCFDC), where he supports local entrepreneurs and small businesses in building purpose-driven ventures. His professional background spans consulting for Deloitte’s Human Capital division and delivering strategic guidance to high-growth companies like Viva Naturals and FundThrough. 

Born and raised in Lindsay, Corey has recently returned to Kawartha Lakes with his family—bringing with him not only national and international experience but also a deep personal commitment to the well-being and growth of the region. His expertise in stakeholder engagement, future-oriented planning, and social innovation will be invaluable as CFKL continues to expand its reach and deepen its community partnerships.

 Corey holds an Honours B.A. in Communication, Global Studies, and Business, a Graduate Diploma in International Project Management, and a Master’s degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation. His diverse background and forward-thinking mindset are a strong complement to CFKL’s strategic vision.
